UNADE in Mexico

UNADE in Mexico

UNADE in Mexico took its first steps with the IOE Group. Its main headquarters is located in Mexico City. It soon opened its delegation in the State of Quintana Roo and, specifically, in the city of Cancún.

The main reason is to make international mobility and transport easier for students, faculty and staff. Cancún is a strategic hub, as it has the second busiest airport in Mexico by number of flights.

In addition, these trips are shorter compared with the main capitals of Spanish-speaking countries and of Europe. For example, it is just 5 hours from Bogotá and 10.5 hours from Madrid.

Moreover, Cancún has a remarkable environment. It is very pleasant for the UNADE student in Mexico in every respect: its landscapes, its climate, its people, its beaches, its safety and its culture.

The services UNADE offers in Mexico

UNADE in Mexico offers its students the most important services, among which the following stand out:

  1. Academic records management: each student’s file is reviewed to authorize it from an administrative and formal standpoint. Each applicant’s academic background is verified, as well as any other requirements needed to finalize enrollment at the University.
  2. Legal services: this service is provided for everything related to the University’s internal legal matters.
  3. Academic calendars: these are drawn up to set enrollment dates, degree award dates, and so on.
  4. Admissions: the University has admissions officers in different countries and, above all, in Spain. In addition, UNADE in Mexico has general Admissions services.
  5. Faculty: although UNADE’s faculty is international, a large part of it is based in Mexico.

Some of UNADE’s most important partnerships in Mexico

Our partnerships in this country include agreements with different universities. Among them we can highlight those signed with the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) for organizing international study stays. These can take place both in Europe and in other parts of the Americas—above all, the United States and Canada.

At UNADE in Mexico we should also highlight the partnership with the country’s teacher associations for their continuing education.

A very important partnership is the one related to its participation in the Association of Universities of Quintana Roo. Several State working committees take part in it to improve the quality of education.

In addition to the above, UNADE in Mexico maintains other partnerships with different purposes. For example, the provision of virtual learning content so that other organizations can deliver online training; or the launch of programs to bring education closer to more disadvantaged groups.

Official status of UNADE’s programs

The programs of UNADE in Mexico are official, as it is their country of origin. This applies, by contract, to all training related to master’s degrees, doctorates and bachelor’s degrees.

In addition, UNADE in Mexico can provide non-formal training through its own qualifications such as diplomas, master’s programs and courses—that is, professional, non-official training.

UNADE’s solidarity programs

UNADE in Mexico is working on planning a program to provide access to education for disadvantaged groups—especially those with difficulties traveling to educational centers.

Through these UNADE programs, it is committed to progressively providing its 80,000 hours of virtual educational content to those with fewer opportunities. We are also working to launch a program that provides qualifications to young people and others with an outstanding academic record. They will be able to combine their jobs with access to bachelor’s degree studies.
