UNADE’s institutional regulations


The Institutional Regulations of Universidad Americana de Europa are made up of the following sets of rules:

  • Internal Regulations.
  • Social Services Regulations.
  • Professional Internship Regulations.
  • Mobility Regulations.
  • The Disciplinary Regulations.

The Internal Regulations establish the collegiate bodies, the authorities, the curricula and study programs, as well as everything related to the academic staff and students. UNADE also regulates the Social Services linked to studies, their purposes, characteristics and requirements, in addition to the rights and obligations related to them. Finally, UNADE has established a Professional Internship Regulation that defines its organization, its development and the rights and obligations of the interns. Other areas regulated at our university are those related to study scholarships, research, the development of new degree programs, inter-institutional agreements, as well as responsibilities and sanctions.

Powers of Universidad Americana de Europa


In short, UNADE as a University has the following powers:

  1. Develop the university organizational structure. Hire the necessary human and material resources.
  2. Propose to the educational authority the additions or reforms that, in its opinion, should be made to the study programs. Likewise, propose the calendar of the educational system.
  3. Issue study certificates, degrees, diplomas, recognitions, special distinctions and others. That is, documentation required by students or teachers, in accordance with the applicable university provisions.
  4. Promote research and development.
  5. Establish procedures and requirements for equivalence and certification of studies. These must be consistent with the applicable federal and state legislation.
  6. Follow up on the applications submitted regarding revalidation and equivalence.
  7. Develop the procedures for selection and admission and continuation of students at UNADE. As well as the procedures for the admission, continuation and promotion of academic staff. All of this in accordance with the recommendations that arise within the system and those proposed by the educational authority.
  8. Study, develop and deliver academic improvement and updating programs. Both for the university community and for the general population.
  9. Promote cultural and sports activities, of participation and coordination with the public, private and social sectors. As well as carrying out productive activities with a high level of efficiency and social purpose.
  10. Articulate the necessary provisions in order to make this entity’s own powers effective. As well as carrying out all the legal acts necessary to fulfill its objective.

Students’ obligations


Through this document, we inform you of some important conditions that UNADE students must take into account.

Cost for changing programs

When an official student completes the 1st semester of a training program and decides to change programs, the cost for the change is set at:

  • Master’s: €300
  • Doctorate: €500

Cost of failing

  • Doctorate. If, for whatever reason, a student fails a semester in whole or in part, the cost of re-enrollment is set at €1,272.
  • Master’s. If, for whatever reason, a student fails a semester in whole or in part, the cost of re-enrollment is set at €948.

Cost for extending tutoring on research projects

If, for whatever reason, a student requires additional time to finish developing or preparing their research project, the cost is set at €1,272.

Cost for a 2nd session of the Defense Committee

In the event of failing the defense of the Master’s Final Project and Doctoral Thesis, the student will have the opportunity to defend and present their work again. To do so, they will need to pay the cost of organizing the new committee, which is €195.

What are the graduation fees?

Because UNADE is a University with international students, we break down our fees according to their origin. These are:

  • Graduation fees for National Students

This fee includes the submission of the records of the last semester, the management regarding the review of the academic research work and the constitution of the committee for the defense of the thesis work. Finally, it also includes the issuance of the Degree, transcript of grades and postal delivery to the student’s address. The amount of this fee is €450.

  • Graduation fees for International Students

This fee includes the submission of the records of the last semester, the management regarding the review of the academic research work and the constitution of the committee for the defense of the thesis work. It also includes the issuance of the Degree, transcript of grades and postal delivery to the student’s address. Additionally, and in accordance with the conditions of an agreement external to the university, the management of legalization and Hague apostille on the graduation documents is offered to students who require it.   • At the end of the program, it is an essential requirement for national and international students to submit a digital photograph with the proper characteristics as stipulated in the “UNADE Photographs” annex.
