UNADE in Ecuador

UNADE University in Ecuador

UNADE’s expansion from Europe toward Latin America has been steady since its founding, driven by its membership in the IOE Group, an international benchmark in higher education. This affiliation has given UNADE a solid global vocation, reflected in its active presence in many Spanish-speaking countries.

Ecuador holds a priority place for our institution, as a significant share of our students come from this country. Year after year, we keep growing thanks to the trust of the Ecuadorian community, the quality of the education we offer, and the official, recognized nature of our qualifications.

University degrees from UNADE have already been recognized in Ecuador for our graduates, with the backing of SENESCYT, which reflects the seriousness and legitimacy of our academic model.

UNADE degrees in Ecuador

It is essential to note that, on August 2, 2018, the reform of the Organic Law on Higher Education (LOES) was published, amending article 126 and adding article 97, establishing:

“For a foreign degree to be recognized in Ecuador, it must have been granted by an institution endorsed or accredited by the competent authorities of the country of origin.”

This is precisely the case of UNADE, whose academic programs hold official recognition in Mexico, and whose qualifications are duly accredited and registered. Therefore, we comply with the provisions of the LOES, ensuring that our Ecuadorian graduates can register their degrees with SENESCYT without depending on old lists of universities.

This means that, since they are official and internationally endorsed studies, our degrees have full validity and can be registered in Ecuador, in accordance with current legislation.

Support programs for UNADE training in Ecuador

UNADE in Ecuador has a significant scholarship system and a special system for access to studies. The three priority groups for access to master’s degrees in education and official studies are:

  • Teachers working at Public Technological Institutes located in geographically isolated areas.
  • People with physical disabilities.
  • People who are highly isolated geographically, in a disadvantaged position to access quality education.

SENESCYT and UNADE: the Globo Común Program

UNADE has signed an agreement with SENESCYT for the Globo Común Program, through which the Secretariat of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation offers scholarships to pursue master’s degrees, intended for Ecuadorian students with previous third-level studies.

UNADE Ecuador: an international university recognized by SENESCYT

The Secretariat of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (SENESCYT) recognizes the American University of Europe (UNADE) as one of the leading international universities worldwide. This official endorsement reaffirms the institution’s high academic level, the legitimacy of its programs, and its commitment to excellent, accessible higher education with global reach.

This recognition strengthens the Ecuadorian community’s trust in UNADE and validates its standing as an institution that trains leaders, researchers and professionals in bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs, entirely in Spanish and with international validity.
